Join studio guru Thomas Cochran for an in-depth look at a collection of fun, inspiring, and powerful plugins from Yum Audio. After welcoming you and introducing the course, Thomas begins with LoFi Flux Light, which is designed to emulate analog tape warble sounds. The full version, LoFi Flux Machine, follows, and Thomas demonstrates the additional features available, including flutter effects, tone-shaping, and more. Then discover how to add pitch error sounds to your tracks with LoFi Pitch Dropout, which can also be used for stereo widening as well.

Next, explore the sounds of LoFi Playtime, which is capable of all kinds of time-based effects. You’ll learn how to create interesting time-stretched delays and add other unorthodox effects to your productions. With LoFi Tapestop, Thomas shows how to generate tape start-up and slow-down effects that can be synced to your DAW’s project tempo for seamless integration.

Finally, there’s Spread Light, which combines several stereo-imaging utility features into one powerful plugin, including mid-side widening and Haas-effect modes. The full-featured Spread allows you to specify four different bands that can be adjusted individually for incredibly detailed control of your stereo image.
