From subtle dynamics control to in-your-face smack. Compressor gives guitars presence, makes vocals “pop,” and can add clarity, punch, and depth to your drum bus.
The compressor itself operates from 1:1 ratio up to extreme limiting.
The channel comps are great for an all-around control of the signal, but the magic is that they do a certain thing on kicks and snares – add an aggressive snap to the sound that is perfect, when it is called for.
