The FG-X plugin (released in 2010) was discontinued on November 25, 2022, and is no longer supported or updated.
You can still download it (legacy version 1.3.2 for Windows/macOS, including RTAS for Pro Tools 10) if you’re a subscriber or already have a Slate Digital account.
2. FG-X 2 (updated)
Slate Digital has released the completely redesigned FG-X 2, featuring a new interface, modern support (VST3, universal for macOS, Intel/ARM, and Windows), and four saturation/limiting modes, making it more efficient and transparent.
If you already own the original FG-X, FG-X2 is free—just log in and install it from the Slate website.
