Hi there!
Here you have the new skin for the Waves API 2500
ONLY the API 2500 is Totally FREE for everyone
TESTED only with the latest WAVES V12 release in Mac OS X Catalina
ATENTION!
DOESN’T WORK: Waves V9, V10 or V11 cause the resize feature and the presets navigator is not available in this older versions.
Please follow the instructions carefully
How to apply the skins:
You need to replace every file in the correct folder, like this:
1. Applications/Waves/Plug-Ins v12/ API2500.bundle
You have to replace each file in each destination folder otherwise the Plugin will not work as it should
Folders provided in this release:
Waves API 2500 GUI.zip, which contains: GUIXML.zip, and PNG_.zip
You need to uncompress all the files, except the PNG_.zip
Installation:
Windows
1. Open Explorer to C: / Programs (x86) / Waves / Plug Ins V12/ PluginName.bundle / Contents
2. Make a copy of the existing PNG_.zip and GUIXML folder and put into a personal backup folder in case you want to go back to the old skin.
3. Copy the 2 Files provided in the correct folders and places according its names, GUIXML
PNG_.zip (this last one have to be in .zip), put inside the specific Waves Plugin Content folder and close explorer.
4. Open your DAW of choice and you can now use the skin I made.
Mac OS X
1. Open Applications / Waves / Plug Ins V12 (ONLY) / PluginName.bundle, Right clic and choose “show Package contents”
2. Make a copy of the existing PNG_.zip and GUIXML folder and put into a personal backup folder in case you want to go back to the old skin.
3. Copy the 2 Files provided in the correct folders and places according its names, GUIXML PNG_.zip (this last one have to be in .zip), put inside the specific Waves Plugin Content folder and close explorer.
4. Open your DAW of choice and you can now use the new skin.
5. Enjoy it!
NOTE: Again, tested in Waves v12 only (NOT WORKING in previous versions), NOT tested in SoundGrid. Working very well in Side Chain Mode into this specific plugins, CLA MixHub and Scheps Omnichannel.
