I didn’t plan on doing another Bank for the sequential OB6, however when they announced they were adding the “Vintage Knob” feature from the Prophet 5/10 (Rev 4) it was time to get the OB6 out and updated!
This time round, we’re digging deeper, to make new Sounds and while there might be the odd “Vintage” Patch, in the main it’s all about new textures and tones.
It’s full of Pads, Motion sounds, String Synths, huge Bass and cutting Leads. Many of the Sounds utilize Oscillator 2 as a Mod Source leaving only 1 oscillator, however the subtle and not so subtle movement this can create is astounding.
All 100 Patches are demonstrated on Video, so you can hear them before you Buy. I have duplicated the Bank for each Bank Location (User 0 to 4) for easier installation and supports the Sound Tower Editor
You will need to install at least Firmware (Beta V1.6.6) from Sequential Forums and then enable the “Vintage Knob” Function in the Global settings.
