N-NANOMASTER is a compact temporary mastering solution for electronic music designed to encourage and promote better mixdowns.
Offering sub mono filtering, a dynamic de-harsh filter and a smart gradual Soft Clipper followed by a transparent limiter, N-NANOMASTER ensures that you get your mixdown sounding clean and transparent before you eventually swap N-NANOMASTER for your own mastering tools or keep it.
The SOFT CLIP macro allows for gradual clipping down to a threshold of 0db, essentially bypassing the limiter after it. This allows you to easily automate the macro to use transparent soft clipping for frequency rich parts where clipping distortion gets masked well and lower it to use limiting on delicate and sensitive parts of your song.
The ideology behind this type of mastering approach is that the quality of your mixdown should not be dependent on the master’s processing chain, as reverse masters are unpredictable and biased towards specific parts of your songs rather than an all-round mastering solution.
N-NANOMASTER is not only compact but also pure. If your mix sounds worse with it on, then it might be a good time to take a good look at your mixdown and fix the things that bother you IN the mix, rather than in the mastering stage.
FEATURES:
•SUB MONO: Sets the mono cutoff for low frequencies. 140HZ MAX.
•DE-HARSH: A dynamic bell eq located at the 3KHZ-4KHZ region, making sure you keep your resonances in-tact.
•SOFT CLIP: Gradual soft clipping. Think of 0% on the macro as a +20DB Threshold for the soft clipper. At 100% macro the threshold is at 0DB, essentially bypassing the limiter after it.
