Roland L-CD1 is a sample library manufactured by Roland. It was built first for Roland’s S-50 synthesizer (released in March 1986) and then for the S-50’s rack counterpart — the S-550 (released in June 1987) —, then for the S-330 synthesizer (released in January 1988), and then for the W-30 synthesizer (released in January 1989 and discontinued in 1994) and lastly for the DJ-70 synthesizer (released in March 1992 and replaced by a Mk2 version in 1996, and discontinued in 2000).
