The New Rhythmic Aura 2 – Synth Edition was produced by Academy Award, TEC and G.A.N.G Award Winning Composer and Producer, Troels Folmann.
The 8Dio Aura Series is a highly intuitive, yet advanced scoring tool designed to create new compositions or augment your existing compositions. The concept revolves around evolving cinematic pulses that will immediately create a textural aura around your composition.
The New Rhythmic Aura 2 was created with a wealth of vintage synths that were processed and mangled to perfection through a variety of tools. You will find hundreds and hundreds of custom pulses that can be combined in an infinite amount of ways. Whether it is using pulsing between groups. Whether its creating new rhythms through our custom effects. Whether its additional our new textural convolution delays on top of the pulses. Everything comes ready for quick and fast manipulation – allowing you to make your own auras in a matter of seconds.
The New Rhythmic Aura 2 comes with a deep set of controls. The internal browser offers you immediate access to all pulses and ability to stack and crossfade between as many pulses you want. In addition you get instant access to a large assortment of filters, custom rhythmic gate, compression, delays and our new textural convolution delay (aka Form).
The library also contains our Chaos Effects 3.4 Engine, which offers you access to a variety of effects and hundreds of convolution custom impulses.
Instant Textures and Colors
Rhythmic Aura is first and foremost a rhythmic texture tool – designed to create a textural aura around your composition and immediately bring something new and cool to the music. Rhythmic Aura Synth contains hundreds of completely host-tempo BPM synced rhythmic textures made with the following instruments: Auras containing Ambiences, Auras containing Bass/Low-range synths, Auras containing Mid-Range Synths and Auras containing High-Range Synths.
Complete Control
Rhythmic Aura is all about control – whether you want to change the pitch or texture of the aura. We created the user-interface so you have instant access to a large assortment of primary controls, including 4-Band EQ, Custom Gate function that allows you to “tighten” the sound of the aura. We also added Filters with Cut-Off and Resonance control. Full tempo-sync features, Dynamics, Attack, Decay and various other deep effects. It all works effortlessly. CHAOS FX Engine
Our FX CHAOS Engine is one of the most extreme feature in Rhythmic Aura. The FX CHAOS Engine allows you make thousands of sample parameters randomize with several easy clicks. Also controllable from the front faced FX section, our 8Dio FX system is a glorious cocktail of processed fun.
Real-time Effects
Rhythmic Aura also contains a massive amount of real-time effects that can be triggered via the effects page of the front faced effects macro system. We included Bit-Crusher/LOFI, Rotator, Delay, Reverb, Distortion, Phaser – and a large set of custom convolution reverbs that brings an entire new world to the textures.
Articulation and Stacking Control
The New Rhythmic Aura 2 contains a built-in articulation selection and stack control with A/B controls. The articulation window offers you instant access to all sub-articulations within the instrument. The stack control gives you the ability to stack as many articulations you want together. Simply stack as many sounds as you want until you find the texture that works perfectly for your composition. It just takes a few seconds.
Gating
Everything in Rhythmic Aura is designed to match your host tempo. All you have to do is play and you are all hooked up. The gate and several LFO’s sync at a variety of assignable timings. These features become really powerful used together with our STACK/LINK button that allows you to merge multiple patches together and crossfade between them using out A/B features several simple clicks. Life is easier that way.
