This is a light version of the ProjectSAM True Strike 1 library. The library contains a total of 51 orchestral poercussion instruments including timpani, orchestral drums, ensemble hits, melodic percussion, and small percussion instruments. The instruments have a clear, crisp sound with an adequate amount of hall ambience. On top of the standard orchestral percussion instruments, the library includes a good range of auxiliary percussion instruments as well. The included content is great for more traditional cinematic and orchestral compositions, but might not be the best choice for more epic or hybrid compositions. Overall, a good collection of traditional orchestral percussion with a good amount of features in a lightweight package!
Following changes were made to the library:
1. The “Far” mic position sample group was removed. The default “Stage” mic gives a nice sound with a good amount of ambience, while the “Close” mic adds more clarity and directness.
2. The samples in the original release were in 24-bit 44.1kHz format. The samples were converted to 16-bit 44.1kHz and repacked into NKX containers. A null test results in a peak of -85dB, which won’t be audible at all. Also, after quite some testing, no issues were found with noise floor build-up when playing lots of notes. The conversion process takes the size down to 2.75GB from the original 8.30GB, which is a 67% reduction! 
NOTE: Kontakt v5.8.0 or higher is required. This library does not work with legit full version of Kontakt and k’d Kontakt is necessary to use this library.
